Locavore Farm has grown into a true farm-stay and culinary destination set across 35 acres of prairie, pasture, gardens, woods, and water — a close-but-far retreat just outside Chicagoland where guests can slow down, breathe deeply, and experience the beauty of land being restored.

Tucked a quarter mile off a quiet gravel road, the farm feels secluded from the pace of ordinary life. Here, you will find two fully restored, 100-year-old homes: The Locavore Cottage, a cozy historic stay for up to 6 guests, and The Farmhouse at Locavore Farm, a spacious restored farmhouse for up to 8 guests. The farm also includes a one-acre pond, regenerated prairie, walking paths, gardens, fire pits, farm animals, event spaces, and the simple wonder of a working farm thoughtfully stewarded back to life.

Locavore is more than a place to stay. It is a living farm campus — an oasis intentionally cared for through regenerative farming practices, not only for wildlife, soil health, and food production, but for people in need of beauty, rest, connection, and renewal.
