How it Works
Simple weekly pickup, flexible sharing, and thoughtful planning — we handle the complexity so you don’t have to. 1. Choose Your Share Select a Half Share (12 weeks) or Full Share (24 weeks) and place a 50% deposit through Square to reserve your share. 2. We Activate the Season Your deposit allows us to plant crops, raise animals, care for soil health, and steward pollinator spaces — putting the entire food system in motion well before the first pickup. 3. Weekly Pickup + Gathering Pick up your Farm Box every Thursday from 6–9 PM during Thursday at Locavore. Pickup is also an invitation to linger, gather, and bring others with you. Can’t make it Thursday? Friday pickup can be arranged You may send anyone to pick up your share on your behalf 4. Enjoy, Share, Gift You’re encouraged to gift your Farm Box week-to-week — to friends, neighbors, employees, or loved ones. Many members use their share as a meaningful way to pass along nourishment and hospitality. 5. Balance Due Before First Pickup Your remaining balance is due before the first Farm Box pickup. All payments are processed securely through Square.

When is pickup? Every Thursday from 6–9 PM. If you miss Thursday, Friday pickup can be arranged. Can someone else pick up my share? Yes — anyone may pick up your Farm Box on your behalf. Can I gift my box? Absolutely. You may gift your Farm Box week-to-week, including the Thursday experience. What if I miss a week entirely? With advance notice, a pre-arranged double portion the following week can often be accommodated. How is the chicken provided? Cuts rotate weekly and may include: One whole chicken Leg quarters (4 total, packaged 2 per pack) Chicken breasts (4 total, packaged 2 per pack) What is the farm-made gift? A seasonal item chosen by the farm — such as a bouquet, condiment, spice package, baked good, or pantry/home item. Why is a 50% deposit required? Your deposit is an investment in a living food system. It activates planting, livestock care, soil health, and pollinator spaces — benefiting not only your share, but the land and community for generations to come.
